Part-Time Bookkeeper
Position Description
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for 3–5 entities managed by Comstock Companies. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations, ensures timely and accurate transaction processing, and assists with reconciliations and reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a multi-entity environment, and experienced with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, with POS and Oracle experience considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping for 3–5 entities
- Record and classify daily financial transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams and external accountants as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience supporting multiple entities preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks required
- POS system and Oracle experience a plus
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting tool
- Must be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrity

- Must be customer-focused and results-oriented
