Senior Tax Associate- Regional Accounting Practice

Details about the Role:
- Pay: $105,000- $125,000 (could be more commensurate with experience)
- Prep and review tax returns for various entities, businesses, high net worth individuals, pass through entities, C-Corps, S-Corps, and Partnerships.
- Enter this information into a variety of prep software programs like CCH, Pro System, and Ultra Tax
- Ensure all business tax returns are filed in accordance with Firm guidelines as well as ensuring federal regulations are met
- Identify issues with tax returns to correct everything, great skills in organizing and understanding what should be analyzed and in what order
- Work well with the managing partners for any tax work needed and assist any junior staff on their prep and review
Ideal Background for the Role:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, stats, business administration or related field
- CPA eligible, CPA license currently, or in progress is ideal, EA is also a plus. or working to obtain the EA
- 3-4 + years of solid tax prep and review experience in a local accounting environment, Big firm, regional firm, or equivalent firm doing daily tax prep and review work on multiple entities and VIP clients
- Very proficient with various tax software programs
- Understanding of tax laws and ability to be in a fast paced tax environment to get work done efficiently
Job Details:
- Full time Monday through Friday
- Hours capped in busy season unlike a lot of firms where you may work 70-80 hours a week
- Pay: $105,000- $125,000
