We are actively hiring a Cyber Targeting Officer to join our team working in Tyson's, VA. Candidates will have at least three years of cyber security experience to support operational requirements. The positions require a strong understanding of digital networks, targeting concepts, and experience with the customer’s tools, systems and operations. Successful candidates will have strong investigative skills, self-starters, can identify issues and offer solutions, and are able to collaborate and work both independently and as part of a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• At least three (3) years of experience performing work related to the position and an understanding of digital networks, network architecture, network penetration testing (pentesting) , network security and management products, web services, and layer 3/layer 2 configuration files. Demonstrated strong investigative skills to perform independent analysis on a variety of data sets to find elements of interest, whether it be computing and mobile devices, network activity, or individuals.
• Experience with internet applications and protocols, such as Windows and Linux operating systems, SQL, Hadoop, or other DBMS. An understanding of scripting languages such as Python.
• Network traffic analysis experience using Wireshark, Suricata, and nDPI, to baseline standard activity and identify anomalies.
• The ability or interest in leveraging new technologies, including FINTECH.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in areas such as Cybersecurity, Computer Networks, Network Administration, Computer Security, Information Systems or Computer Science .
• TS/SCI with poly required.
• Certifications to include CISSP, GIAC GPEN, CEH, OSCP, CNDA, and Sec+ are desired.
