Precision Plating System Operator
- Sets up and maintains production/quality control equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
- Diagnoses issues and makes appropriate repairs/takes necessary steps to ensure machinery and equipment runs correctly with limited production down time.
- Calibrates or adjusts equipment to ensure quality production and testing capabilities using appropriate tools.
- Adheres to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Collaborates with employees to ensure necessary information is collected and communicated to ensure limited production down time.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma, trade or technical school certification; bachelor’s or associate’s degree preferred; some related experience.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills; and, ability to quickly learn new programs, machinery, and equipment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; and, the ability to read and interpret documentation such as safety rules, work process instructions, memos, etc.
- Ability to follow instruction, accept corrections, contribute ideas, and work well as part of a team.
- May be required to work overtime as needed to meet department goals.

- Duties performed primarily in a high volume manufacturing environment, working with both manual and automated equipment.
- Duties performed in sometimes extreme temperatures (heat and cold).
- Performs work safely in accordance with department safety procedures. Operates equipment safely and reports any unsafe work condition or practice to supervisor.
