Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
• Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
• Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management of any shortages.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hotel, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of custodial practices and floor care techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills, demonstrating professionalism in interactions with guests and staff.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
