Line Operator

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Manual Final Pack Operators. In this role, you will be responsible for manually assembling boxes and packing final brick bags, instructions, and other materials into packaging before shipment. This position requires standing for 12-hour shifts in an assembly line format, working closely with peers.

• Manually assemble boxes and pack final products with instructions and materials.
• Maintain the condition of machinery and keep the work area clean and tidy.
• Perform all positions involved in the production line to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to and report on production performance metrics.
• Ensure quality standards are met and report any issues.
• Contribute to the constant flow of the line and minimize downtime.
• Achieve standard hourly production results.
• Participate in line operation reporting, including TPM, 5S, QA, and Line Release Audits.
• Support changeovers, quality inspections, and machine cleaning.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with peers, following company values.

• 1-2 years of experience in production or manufacturing.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks on an assembly line.
• Experience with standing for 8-12 hour shifts.
• Proficiency in quality control, assurance, and checks.
• Skills in inventory management, loading, and warehouse operations.

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to make a box in less than 2 seconds.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs when loading full boxes onto pallets.
• Continuous standing, walking, and body movement.
• Experience in a performance-measured environment.

Work in a very clean, state-of-the-art facility in Colonial Heights, featuring a packaging operation, warehouse, and training center. Enjoy a climate-controlled environment with a canteen/breakroom equipped with food and drink machines. Locker rooms are available, with restrictions on personal items like phones and jewelry on the production floor. Experience a 3,2,2,3 work schedule with rotations between standing and sitting tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colonial Heights, VA.

The pay range for this position is $19.15 - $19.15/hr.
