Join a rapidly expanding Psychiatry Residency program, including a new Community Psychiatry track at Carilion New River Valley. Your contributions will directly influence program development and training excellence. Your role and environment Based at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Radford, VA , you’ll provide consultation-liaison psychiatry services across medical and surgical units, supported by:

• A 110-bed hospital with 32 inpatient psychiatry beds
• A robust outpatient psychiatry clinic and OBOT program
• System-wide telemedicine reach across seven hospitals, including rural and critical access sites
• Dedicated mental health care coordinators and a 24/7 call center
• A distinct 24/7 Emergency Psychiatry team that covers all Emergency Departments
• Access to specialized services like Interventional Psychiatry, Brain Injury Medicine, and Geriatric Psychiatry

What you bring

• Fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry or
• Combined training (IM-Psychiatry, FP-Psychiatry, or similar) or
• Significant (2+ years) experience in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
