Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Inside Shop Machinists for projects located in Newport News, VA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is based on experience and skill level . If you are an Inside Shop Machinist eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Operate Manual and/or NC machines
- Working wth lathes, mills, horizontal and vertical machining centers
Responsibilities
- Ability to comprehend complex mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Minimum of 5+ years minimum experience as an Inside Shop Machinist
- Proficient with controllers such as: Fanuc, Siemens, Acramatic, CincinnatiMilacron etc.
- Proficient with threading and the various measuring/gauging
- Familiar with carbide machining processes
