Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Informatica to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using Informatica (PowerCenter/IICS).

• Build and maintain robust data pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources into enterprise data warehouses or data lakes.

• Collaborate with business users and data teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Perform data quality checks, validation, and cleansing to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, resolving data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.

• Implement best practices in data modeling, ETL development, and data governance.

• Maintain metadata and documentation for ETL jobs and data processes.

• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to support cloud-based data integration if required.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.

• Proficiency in SQL and relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling.

• Solid understanding of ETL best practices and performance tuning techniques.

• Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred:

• Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.

• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.).

• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
