Personal Injury Case Manager
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Personal Injury Case Manager to support personal injury legal files from initial intake through the pre-litigation stage. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a legal support professional who enjoys client communication, case organization, medical record coordination, and helping move files forward with accuracy and care.
- Gather, review, and organize medical records, medical bills, wage loss information, and related case documentation.
- Communicate with clients regarding treatment status, medical records, bills, and overall case progress.
- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain information, track claims activity, and support demand preparation.
- Prepare demand packages for submission to insurance carriers.
- Monitor client treatment progress and follow up with clients consistently and professionally.
Compensation and Benefits - Salary range: $47,000 to $50,000 per year, contingent on experience.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Work arrangement: Onsite position in Norfolk, VA 23510.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage personal injury files from intake through pre-litigation.- Coordinate medical records, billing documentation, wage loss information, and demand preparation.
- Communicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, and internal legal staff.
- Support accurate case documentation within case management software and firm processes. - 3 to 5 years of relevant legal support experience preferred for this experience level.
- Prior personal injury case support experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to learn and work within a case management software system.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and polished phone manners.
- Strong time management, organization, proofreading, and typing skills.
- Professional work habits, including punctuality, active listening, attention to detail, and openness to instruction and feedback.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based legal environment. Preferred Qualifications - Experience handling personal injury matters before litigation.
- Familiarity with medical records, insurance claims communication, and demand package preparation.
- Experience working in legal case management software.
