About This Role
The Door Attendant / Floater/Van Driver (Childcare) is a dynamic role that reports to the Director and Office Administration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for working with young children and exhibit an upbeat, friendly demeanor. Additionally, they must be willing to undergo 24 hours of annual training hours within one month of hire or promotion.
What You'll Do- The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a classroom setting, interacting with various age groups of children in a professional and enthusiastic manner. They must also be flexible and willing to work in any capacity required by the position, with a varied schedule that includes 8:00 am to 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- As part of this role, the individual will be responsible for driving a 15-passenger van, accompanied by young children, and must have a spotless driving record with no major violations.
- The ideal candidate will possess an upbeat attitude, be friendly, and have a genuine passion for working with young children.
This position necessitates passing a Criminal Background Check , Child Protective Services Background Check , and a Skin Tuberculosis test . Moreover, it is essential that the candidate completes 24 hours of online training before commencing work. Furthermore, reliable transportation is a must, and a strong desire to work with children in a childcare setting is required.
The essential qualification for this role is a high school diploma or GED.
Nice To HavesWe would prefer someone who holds a Two-year college degree, but this is not a mandatory requirement.
