Direct Materials MMS Admin Support (Richmond)
Title: DM Admin (Direct Materials MMS Admin Support Specialist)
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Onsite – Richmond, VA
Schedule: A-Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Must-Haves
- MMS (Materials Management System) experience
- Blue Yonder experience
- ASN / EDI experience
- Shipping & Receiving operations experience
- Direct Materials inventory experience
Plusses
- Experience supporting overseas vendors
- Labeling and re-labeling experience for warehouse automation systems
- ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval System) exposure
- Manufacturing or plant-based experience
Day-to-Day
- Build and manage ASNs in MMS through mid-year, transitioning to Blue Yonder thereafter
- Support vendors and internal business partners by bridging technology and process gaps
- Assist receiving team by ensuring accurate ASNs for material receipt
- Convert and adjust ASNs for overseas vendors as needed
- Re-apply and manage specific labels required for ASRS induction
- Troubleshoot ASN, EDI, and receiving discrepancies
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a DM Admin (Direct Materials MMS Admin Support) for a large manufacturing client. This onsite role supports direct materials operations by managing ASNs, EDI transactions, and system coordination across MMS and Blue Yonder platforms. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring materials are properly received and inducted into automated systems, while acting as a key liaison between vendors, receiving teams, and technology systems. This is a hands-on, operations-focused position ideal for someone with strong MMS, Blue Yonder, and ASN/EDI experience in a manufacturing environment.
Pay and Benefits
The hourly pay range for this position is $24-$33 per hour.
Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience and
skills.
