IoT Field Service Technician
A day on the road
You start by reviewing your dispatched schedule, loading your kit, and heading out in a company vehicle to a customer site. There, you install or service Otodata devices, verify connectivity, and run tests. Using a field automation app, you capture notes, photos, and results, then sync updates so customer service can keep the client informed. Before you leave, you walk the customer through what you did, confirm performance, and plan any follow‑ups. Then it’s on to the next site.

- Create thorough, timely service reports with findings, actions taken, and recommendations.
- Document and refine procedures to elevate service quality and speed.
- Operate company vehicles safely and leverage field automation systems to optimize your route and work.
- Follow established protocols and safety procedures consistently.
