REGISTERED NURSE MANAGER - EMERGENCY ROOM

, Permanent Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to join our team at our Emergency Room in Salem, VA. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits. As the Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Emergency Room and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will lead a team of dedicated nurses and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a safe and efficient environment for our patients. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise the nursing staff in the Emergency Room, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans - Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment - Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of patient information - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement - Provide support and guidance to the nursing staff, including handling any issues or conflicts that may arise - Act as a liaison between the Emergency Room and other departments within the hospital - Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices, and implement changes as needed - Maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff Qualifications: - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role - Strong knowledge of emergency nursing principles and practices - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions - Proficient in electronic medical record systems - BLS and ACLS certifications required, TNCC and ENPC preferred If you are a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse looking for a challenging and rewarding management opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position.
