IT Asset Disposition Technician

Location: Chantilly, VA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $19 per hour

Position Summary:
We’re looking for a full-time ITAD (IT Asset Disposal) Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our electronics recycling and resale process; testing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of devices to give them new life in the secondary market. If you're detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and thrive in a fast-paced, tech-focused environment, this could be your perfect fit.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up, connect, and run electronic testing procedures using internal diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues by replacing defective parts.
• Identify electronics from incoming inventory that are viable for resale.
• Assess equipment details to help determine resale value and prioritize high-value items.
• Collect and move inventory across the warehouse; generate and manage resale inventory lists.
• Maintain accurate records and update systems using tools like Salesforce.
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• At least one year of experience or hands-on training related to electronics or IT hardware.
• Basic knowledge of computers, operating systems, and hardware components.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Windows, and MacOS is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for figuring out how things work.
