CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH - CARDIOVASCULAR OPERATING ROOM

, Permanent Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Tech to join our team in the Cardiovascular Operating Room at our facility in Winchester, VA. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting our surgeons in complex cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures, including setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies - Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and other supplies - Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and have instruments and supplies ready for use - Monitor and maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure - Assist with patient positioning and prepping for surgery - Handle specimens and surgical instruments with care and follow proper disposal procedures - Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure the best possible patient outcomes - Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of procedures and supplies used - Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols - Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices and new technologies in surgical technology Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program - Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting - Excellent knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures - Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team - Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call and weekends We offer competitive salary and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
