Sitdown Forklift
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Sitdown Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently moving, stacking, and organizing materials. Responsibilities
- Operate sitdown forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Stack and organize products in designated areas for easy access.
- Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials handled.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating sitdown forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime if required.
