OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Accomac, VA by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• Hazmat endorsement
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Work OTR with HMD Trucking from Accomac, VA transporting HAZMAT freight nationwide. The position emphasizes safety, dependable freight, and clear expectations in a supportive company culture.

Daily responsibilities:

• Safely move hazardous loads across long-haul routes while meeting federal and company safety standards.
• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections, document trips, and report any vehicle issues promptly.
• Maintain communication with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries and efficient routing.

Compensation & fleet:

• Starting pay at 65 CPM plus 4 CPM on HAZMAT, weekly averages near 2,500 miles and multiple bonus opportunities.
• Late-model trucks with sleepers, APUs and in-house maintenance to keep drivers on the road.

Minimum requirements:

• CDL-A license and a minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.
