Bilingual Accountant - Hybrid - Remote

The accountant will be responsible for managing accounting and payment-related activities, tracking invoices, maintaining up-to-date financial records, and preparing reports. Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and compile data from internal and external sources to create reports for various departments and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve purchase orders and payment discrepancies.
- Conduct reconciliations and review financial transactions for accuracy.
- Maintain records and manage outstanding checks.
- Support teams by conducting variance analysis, audits, and reporting.
- Assist in audit activities by providing necessary documentation and materials to external auditors.
- Contribute to special projects by preparing ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Bilingual in Spanish (required).
- Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC at least two days per week (hybrid remote schedule).
- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and industry policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present recommendations.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to working effectively in a team environment.
