Project Coordinator

DNI is seeking a highly capable and mission-driven Project Coordinator to support a critical Air Force effort at CAOC-X, the premier center for Test, Experimentation/Innovation and Technical Support for the AOC Enterprise. This role serves as a key integrator across mission functions, government stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring alignment, communication, and accountability for all CAOC-X initiatives and events.

Embedded with the CAOC-X team, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for tracking project execution, managing documentation and reporting, and facilitating collaboration across multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational experience, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate complex efforts in a high-tempo environment.

Requirements

  • Act as the central coordination hub for all CAOC-X activities and initiatives.
  • Collect, document, and communicate the status of CAOC-X events by engaging directly with project leads and stakeholders.
  • Track action items, manage deliverables, and coordinate updates across internal teams, government leadership, and third-party partners.
  • Prepare and deliver status reports, briefings, and documentation for CAOC-X leadership and staff meetings.
  • Ensure completion of Operations Submission Forms and After Action Reports (AARs) for all events.
  • Support the compilation of the Annual CAOC-X History Report and organize documentation for the Ryan Center’s Facility Review Board (FRB).
  • During emergency shutdown procedures, serve as the single point of contact for tracking and reporting status across internal teams, supported customers, and data providers—reporting directly to the Site Lead and CAOC-X Director.
  • Participate in kickoff meetings, technical working groups, and senior-level briefings.
  • Coordinate timelines, milestones, and responsibilities across multiple teams to ensure smooth execution of CAOC-X activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Operations, Systems Management, or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–10 years of experience coordinating operations or technical programs within the Department of Defense or U.S. Air Force.
  • Deep understanding of Air Force operations, planning processes, and support functions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to brief and collaborate with senior leadership.
  • Possession of TS/SCI Clearance

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Engineering background with experience managing engineering projects.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple engineering stakeholders.
  • Strong technical acumen and comfort working with complex project requirements.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong writing and documentation skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to track multiple concurrent activities.
  • Adaptable and effective in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
  • Strong follow-through and ownership of responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent training.
  • Experience supporting CAOC operations, Air Force command-level activities, or enterprise-level coordination.
  • Familiarity with military documentation and operational reporting processes.
