Service Manager- Commercial Boiler
We’re recruiting for a Service Manager to lead a boiler & mechanical service team based across Richmond, VA and Northern VA.
Must-Haves
Strong boiler / mechanical service background
Experience coming from a mechanical contractor
Proven ability managing a large field team (≈20+ technicians)
Comfortable being customer-facing (clients, project superintendents, stakeholders)
Experience with service sales, estimating, and job coordination
Able to split time 50/50 office and field
Responsibilities
Oversee and support 23 technicians
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the service team
Lead by example in the field and office
Act as a bridge between technicians, customers, and management
Maintain service quality, scheduling, and customer satisfaction
Culture Fit
Outgoing, engaged personality
Background in sports or physically active environments strongly preferred
Natural leader who earns respect by doing the work
Comfortable representing the company in front of customers
- Vehicle allowance or service truck
