YARD PULLER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Yard Puller for a company based in Elkwood, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build valuable experience in the building materials industry while contributing to a well-established company known for supporting contractors and construction projects across the region.

Pay Rate
$18.00+ (DOE)

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm with opportunity for overtime

Yard Puller Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
• Pull customer orders accurately and prepare materials for shipment.
• Band and bundle lumber and building materials securely for safe transport and delivery.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and designated storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Transport materials throughout the yard while maintaining organization and inventory accuracy.

Yard Puller Qualifications and Requirements

• Knowledge of lumber and building materials preferred.
• Ability to read and pull orders accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced yard environment.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials safely.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.

Full-time, temp-to-perm
