Mig Welder

We are on the hunt for a skilled MIG Welder who takes pride in laying down clean, beautiful beads. If your stack of dimes looks more like a work of art and less like a bird flew over it, we want you on our team. Come join a shop where your skills are valued

salary: $19 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals based on blueprints and technical drawings
• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect workpieces for defects and perform necessary adjustments
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
• Perform quality control checks to ensure welds meet project specifications

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder (at least one year preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Knowledge of welding materials, techniques, and equipment
• Familiarity with welding safety standards and practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• standing for 8 hours at one time
