Job Description

The Senior Capture Manager will oversee the pursuit and capture process for federal government opportunities, working closely with business development, operations, proposal teams, and leadership. The ideal candidate will develop winning strategies, drive opportunity qualification efforts, and coordinate resources throughout the capture lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement capture strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.
• Assess customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and positioning strategies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, industry partners, and key influencers.
• Lead opportunity qualification and pipeline management activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams and drive accountability throughout the capture process.
• Partner with proposal teams to develop compelling and compliant submissions.
• Prepare executive briefings, pursuit reviews, and strategic planning materials.
• Support and mentor business development and capture team members.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in federal business development, capture management, or strategic growth roles.
• Demonstrated success leading and winning competitive federal pursuits.
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and procurement practices.
• Experience supporting professional services, consulting, technology, or related federal programs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience utilizing market intelligence and opportunity tracking tools.
• Strong strategic planning and analytical capabilities.
