Construction Data Entry Clerk

This is a remote position.

B&S Site Development is a full-service large-parcel site development provider of services including clearing, grading, excavation, erosion control, sewer (storm and sanitary) installation, water main installation, paving (including roadbed, curb, and gutter), and sidewalks. We also perform drilling and blasting for both B&S and independent site development customers. Our geographic footprint includes Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and the Greater Washington D.C. area.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Data Entry Clerk to support our project and finance teams. This position is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate project-related records in our construction management systems. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, accurate, and comfortable working with numbers and digital systems remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Enter invoices, purchase orders, payroll timecards, and project expenses into company systems.
  
• Record subcontractor hours, material deliveries, and equipment usage logs.
  
• Cross-check data against source documents to ensure accuracy.
  
• Generate regular data reports for project managers and supervisors.
  
• Identify and correct any errors or discrepancies in records.
  
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive project and financial information.
  
• Support other departments with special data-entry projects as assigned.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
  
• Previous experience in data entry, office support, or accounting preferred.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database software.
  
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy and speed.
  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
