Covington Promotions, a leader in face-to-face marketing and direct sales, has an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual in our Direct Sales department. We are seeking a Part-Time Direct Sales Representative who is ready to make an impact and grow within our vibrant team. As a valued member of our organization, you will have the chance to flex your sales skills directly on the front lines promoting our top products and services. Please note, this position is not remote and requires the representative to participate in direct, door-to-door sales activities.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about personal interaction, persuasive in communication, and proficient in closing sales. By joining our team, you will represent our brand directly to potential customers, providing detailed information and engaging presentations of our offerings. This direct involvement in customer engagement is not just about making sales but also about creating a positive and lasting impression that stands out in today's competitive market.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door sales campaigns to directly interact with potential customers in designated territories.
- Present, promote and sell fiber internet services using solid arguments and engaging demeanor to existing and prospective customers.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships to ensure future sales.
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and other direct communication methods to create new sales opportunities.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule, adapting strategies as needed to meet changing market conditions.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments to maximize output.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports supplying management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in direct sales and marketing continuously improving through feedback.
- Handle customer issues or concerns promptly, applying product expertise to ensure that all questions are effectively addressed.
Requirements
- Proven work experience in direct sales; experience in door-to-door sales of fiber internet services is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in verbal and written forms.
- Commitment to excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
- Self-motivation with a results-driven approach.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and clients efficiently.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- High school diploma; further education or certification in Sales or Marketing will be a plus.
- Physical ability to work outdoors and move around frequently.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the scheduling needs of targeted territories and peak sales periods.
