About the Role:

The Shop Supervisor in the Rental and Leasing Services industry plays a critical role in overseeing daily operations within the equipment rental shop to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and safety regulations related to equipment operation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in equipment maintenance or repair, preferably within the rental or leasing industry.
• Higher education, technical certification or vocational training in equipment maintenance, mechanics, or a related field.
• Experience with inventory management systems and maintenance tracking software.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop technical staff.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the shop team, including technicians and maintenance staff.
• Ensure all equipment is inspected, maintained, and repaired according to safety and quality standards before dispatch.
• Manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies, placing orders as necessary to avoid operational delays.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate shop personnel to promote skill development and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment usage for reporting and compliance purposes.
• Provide outstanding customer service and handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
