We are seeking a reliable CNC Operator for our Salem, VA facility. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring computer-controlled machines to produce precision parts using pre-programmed instructions. CNC Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 to $25.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Monday through Tuesday from 06:00am to 04:30pm )

• Set up and operate CNC machines using pre-programmed instructions to produce precision parts.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machine operations to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Perform detailed inspections and measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain machines, including preventive maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Document production activities and report technical issues to supervisors

CNC Operator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
• 1+ years of CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Skilled in measuring instruments and quality checks for precision parts.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
