Server - Austin Grill

Austin Grill is seeking a Serve r to join our team. As a Serer, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service to create memorable dining experiences. • Assist in setting up banquet and event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, following established service guidelines.
• Interact with guests to fulfill their requests, provide information about menu items, and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bartending staff to ensure that food and drinks are delivered promptly and accurately.
• Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils during and after events, maintaining a clean and organized banquet area.
• Assist in breaking down banquet setups and returning event spaces to their original condition.

• Previous experience as a Banquet Server or in a similar role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team player mentality and the ability to collaborate effectively with other staff members.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods during shifts.
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and twisting.
• Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and supplies weighing up to 25–35 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to handle glassware, plates, and service tools safely.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Tolerance for exposure to heat, noise, and crowded spaces.
• Ability to navigate dining areas quickly and safely.
• Strong balance and coordination while carrying food and beverages.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
