VP/Director of Finance

Description We are looking for an experienced and strategic finance leader to join our team as the Director of Finance. In this role, you will oversee the financial operations and ensure the organization's fiscal health through effective planning, analysis, and reporting. This is a long-term contract position. Responsibilities: - Lead the preparation and management of the annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. - Oversee the month-end close process to maintain accurate and timely financial records. - Develop and present comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders, offering insights for informed decision-making. - Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to ensure efficiency and compliance. - Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency. - Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard financial assets. - Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives. - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all financial activities. - Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the organization's interests. - Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Requirements - A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare sector. - Proven expertise in managing annual budgets and overseeing month-end close processes. - Strong knowledge of financial reporting practices and principles. - Hands-on experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable management. - Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. - Proficiency in financial software and tools to streamline operations. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities to work effectively with diverse teams. - A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in finance.
