Agile Delivery & Operations Lead
Job Title: Agile Delivery & Operations Lead
Location-Type: Hybrid (2–3x/week onsite in Tysons, VA 22102)
Start Date Is: ASAP
Duration: 6-month Contract-to-hire
Compensation Range: $66/hr - $77/hr W2
This role drives Agile delivery excellence while overseeing operational processes within a Product Management Office, ensuring efficient execution and alignment across teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Drive sprint execution and ensure team accountability to commitments
- Identify and remove blockers to maintain delivery timelines
- Own and optimize Jira boards, workflows, and reporting
- Establish PMO cadence including planning cycles and status updates
- Create executive-level reports and presentations
- Manage team processes, documentation, and operational workflows
- Coordinate vendors, tools, and internal processes
- Partner closely with leadership to prioritize and execute initiatives
- Oversee cross-functional efforts and ensure strategic alignment
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 5–7 years of Agile and operations experience
- Strong Scrum leadership experience (ceremonies, delivery ownership)
- Deep expertise in Jira administration and optimization
- Background in PMO, Product Ops, or Business Operations
- Proven ability to drive end-to-end execution across teams
- Experience working with senior leadership and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree required
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Self-starter with strong ownership mindset
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience building or improving a PMO
- Product Operations experience beyond project tracking
- Strong executive reporting and presentation skills
- Experience aligning multiple teams in enterprise environments
- Background in structured or large-scale organizations
