Position Overview:

As a Direct Support Professional , you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health needs. You will assist with daily living activities, encourage skill-building, and foster an inclusive and empowering environment that promotes independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores

• Facilitate community involvement by providing transportation to appointments, social events, and vocational activities

• Build trusting, respectful relationships with clients, families, and team members

• Implement individualized care plans and document progress accurately

• Promote self-advocacy, skill development, and personal growth

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with documentation standards

• Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment by following safety and health protocols
