We are seeking experienced plumbers with specialized skills in refrigeration and copper piping. The ideal candidate must be proficient in silver soldering copper pipes, particularly for refrigeration systems. The role involves installing and hanging pipes in a refrigeration warehouse, requiring candidates to have knowledge in refrigeration and possess basic plumbing tools, including a torch rig.

Responsibilities

• Install and hang copper pipes in a refrigeration warehouse.
• Perform silver soldering on copper pipes specifically for refrigeration systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints for construction and piping installations.
• Use hand tools and lift systems effectively during installations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient pipe installation and maintenance.

Essential Skills

• Experience with copper pipe installations.
• Proficiency in silver soldering techniques.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.
• Skill in using plumbing hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Service experience is a plus.
• Journeyman (JM) or Master License is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

Work takes place Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm in Suffolk, VA. The role involves contributing to the construction of a refrigeration warehouse, providing a dynamic and hands-on work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Williamsburg, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
