Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Auto Technician to perform maintenance and repair work on mainly European vehicles. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles, including brakes, engines, transmissions, steering, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Inspect and test vehicles for safety and reliability.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Communicate with service advisor about vehicle issues and repair options
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training is a plus.
- Certification as an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) technician is preferred.
- Proven experience as an auto technician or mechanic.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
