Foundations Learning Academy is seeking a reliable and energetic After-School Teacher Aide to help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children during our after-school program.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy mentoring children, assisting with homework, and leading fun activities that support learning and social development.

Schedule Part-Time | Monday Friday
Afternoon hours (1pm to 5pm)

Position SummaryThe After-School Teacher Aide supports the Lead Teacher in supervising and engaging school-age children in structured activities that promote learning, creativity, and positive social interaction.

Responsibilities Supervise and engage children during after-school hours
Assist with homework support and tutoring
Help organize recreational and educational activities
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
Support positive behavior and social development
Build respectful and supportive relationships with children and families
Follow Foundations Learning Academy policies and safety procedures

Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is:

Patient and caring with children
Responsible and dependable
Positive and energetic
Able to work well as part of a team
Organized and attentive to safety

Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience working with children preferred
Must pass criminal background and central registry check
CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
