Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVOR

• Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures
• Assist surgeons and ensure a sterile environment in the operating room
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and recovery

Requirements of the RN - CVOR

• Active RN license in Virginia
• Recent experience in cardiovascular operating room settings
• CPR and BLS certification
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
