Functional Fitness/CrossFit Group Coach

Our gym is thriving, and we are looking for a knowledgeable and energetic coach to lead our evening group classes. You will be in charge of leading groups of 5-14 through a preprogrammed warm-up, skill instruction, strength work, and conditioning for a variety of different fitness levels. While we want our classes to be physically challenging, we also place an emphasis on safety and appropriate scaling and modification based on unique client needs. Instructors are expected to have knowledge of barbell training, but education for the right personality fit will definitely be available!

$24 - $30 hourly

• Prepare and execute group training sessions within 3xF's facilities
• Help clients progress their fitness safely through appropriate exercise scaling and modification
• Review any necessary materials in our workout tracking software before class
• Execute group training sessions according to the most up-to-date SOPs
• Make connections with members that help foster long-term relationships

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
• This role requires fitness instructor certification

• Must hold or currently be working towards a CrossFit Certification or other fitness certification from an approved education company such as ACSM, ACE, NAMS, NCSA, AFFA, or NFPT (NCCA Certified)
• Experience training people in a group and/or 1 on 1 setting

We serve primarily middle-aged parents (35–55) who are high-income earners and want to lose weight, gain confidence, and get stronger for life.

Every group client starts with 1-on-1 onboarding and Level Method MAP assessments. We celebrate bright spots: anniversaries, class milestones, referrals, and performance PRs.
