Elwood Staffing is seeking a reliable, friendly, and trustworthy dietary aide to join our team. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming, family-style dining experience for our independent residents while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and dining environment.

Dietary Server Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $14.00 / hour
• Part Time work available
• First Shift ( Tuesday through Friday )

• Provide courteous and friendly service to residents during meal times
• Set up, serve, and clean dining areas
• Assist with light food preparation and support the cook as needed
• Stock supplies and assist with inventory management
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining room, and storage areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
• Maintain coffee/tea stations and dining room supplies
• Follow safety, sanitation, and OSHA standards
• Respond to emergencies and follow facility procedures

Dietary Server Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Friendly, outgoing, and respectful demeanor toward elderly residents
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently most of the time
• Reliable and punctual
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items safely
• Basic computer knowledge preferred
• Clean, professional appearance

Requirements:

• (Must Provide) COVID-19 vaccination record (proof required)
• Drug screening - Must pass for THC
• Virginia & National background check
• At least 1 professional reference
• Ability to maintain First Aid certification

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
