Physician Assistant Cardiothoracic - Locum
Experienced LOCUM Cardiothoracic Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners wanted for a full-time assignment in Virginia! Come join our growing team and enjoy working in the beautiful Roanoke Valley, surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, scenic hiking trails, and vibrant local culture! Our cardiac surgery is a full team endeavor that works across disciplines to ensure the very best for our heart surgery patients. Total team atmosphere!
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 4 months to start! And if goes well, it will extend!
Role Expectations: Â Call coverage, 24/7, along with seeing patients in the clinic, rounding on inpatients, and working in the CVOR with the CT surgeon. Capability to take vein during procedures (function as a First Assist).
Requirements:
·       Eligible for Virginia State License
·       Active APP board certification
·       Active Life Supports: BCLS, ACLS
·       Experience in cardiac and thoracic surgery first assisting
