LOCATION: Full-time onsite in Chantilly, VA

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with deep expertise in geospatial technologies and modern application development to support mission‑critical solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain advanced network environments—including cloud‑based architectures—while building and deploying Windows, Linux, and mobile applications using React, Electron, and current development toolchains.

Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have
the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:

• Strong knowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) applications and services.
• Ability to develop Android/iOS mobile applications using React including proficiency with Visual Studio Code, Android Studio, Xcode, Nodejs, and Javascript.
• Developing Windows and Linux application releases using the Electron framework.
• Working with small teams to manage software development activities.
• Working with customers to define functional requirements, concept of operations, and UI/UX design.
• Managing iterative software development releases.
• Tracking development sprints using JIRA.
• Managing source code in Github and Gitlab.
• Providing technical support and training to a broad client base.
• Understanding emerging technical trends.
• Software engineering and development.
• Supporting technical operations.

Highly Desired Qualifications

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:

• Documenting process and procedures.
• Tool idea conceptualization and requirements design.
• Working with Windows, UNIX, and Linux platforms.
• Advanced degree in Software Engineering or similar.
