Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics within a middle school setting located in Midlothian, VA. This role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to students, supporting their communication development and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess student needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
• Deliver therapy sessions in-person and via teletherapy platforms as needed
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and maintain accurate records
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions

Desired Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Experience working in pediatric healthcare or educational settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff
