Logistics Analyst - Property Management Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking Acquisition Logistics Analyst (Property Mgmt Specialist) with experience supporting programs at various phases of their lifecycle for our customer in Stafford, VA. The Analyst is responsible for working with the Government client and associated team members to provide analytical support by assisting in validating all Government Property (GP), maintaining GP databases, conducting GP inventories, and developing and maintaining Logistics Records Management Databases.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Logistics Analyst, working with Government and company team members, shall monitor the custody and stewardship from Government receipt to formal accountability of the property. The contractor shall execute the following tasks:
a. General Government Property Management support.
b. Overseeing the Federal Contractors Property Management Control System, maintain property management records and metrics, and draft transfer documents.
c. Provide property management expertise to the GP Manager in the Government's development, refinement, and maintenance of Government Furnished Property (GFP) to include accepting property in Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) ensuring it is loaded properly in the Government's requisite Accountable Property System of Record (APSR), distributing the GFP, and accounting for the storage of the GFP.
d. Assisting in maintaining and updating GP and supply inventories on a quarterly basis.
e. Assisting in coordinating maintenance and repair of Government Furnished Parts.
f. Supporting semi-annual reporting requirements on the status of GFP currently in contractor possession.
g. Assisting in auditing actions such as the Capital Asset In Progress (CWIP) by providing the necessary property management information.
h. Executing equipment birthing to record, and material redistribution in Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC).
i. Executing retiring equipment from record in GCSS-MC.
Qualifications:

• Experience with DoD property accountability systems and processes required.
• Experience with the named systems above highly desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and 1 year or relevant experience or 4 to 8 years experience in the duties described above are required.
• Experience with all Integrated Logistics Support elements is desired.
• DAWIA Foundational Certification or equivalent training in Acquisition Logistics desired
• Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance

EXPERIENCE

• Ability to effectively work independently and as part of an integrated team of Government and non-Government players is required.
• Excellent MS Office skills are required.
• Experience with MARCORSYSCOM policies, processes, and environments is desired.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills are required.
• Strong communications skills, go-getter attitude, and passion for the Marine Corps mission are absolute requirements.

Salary Range - $60K to $80K
