Printer Sales & Service Technician

TyrrellTech is a growing company, looking for an enthusiastic employee to help with both sales and technical service in the Northern Virginia area. We are looking for someone who would start inside and learn the inner-workings of our product lines, their technical specifications and service needs. This position then offers growth potential to those who would like to learn and succeed. The company is willing to train a new employee to learn the position and the company’s processes.

This job will include learning a lot of machine information and talking with customers. The proper candidate will need to feel comfortable talking with people both on the phone and in person. The job will require managing an ongoing funnel of sales and keeping in close contact with customers throughout the buying process, and beyond. TyrrellTech supports and services the machines that we sell and the salesperson is expected to stay in close contact with machine owners for the life of their machine, to offer the best support in the industry. This job will require organization, attention to detail, and multitasking. This employee will work in the office and outside of the office, so they will need to manage their time and workload to be as effective and productive as possible in an outside sales and service position.

We are looking for someone with organizational skills, good time management, and a conscientious attitude. The proper candidate for this position will be high energy, have basic computer skills, and be good with their hands. We need a candidate who feels they have a good mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude, that will rise to the challenge of solving a service problem when faced with a mechanical/service issue.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. We would prefer that the candidate have a high school diploma or equivalent 2 years of experience.
