Our client, a leader in heavy industrial operations, is seeking a Forklift Driver to join their team on 1st and 2nd shift. As a Forklift Driver, you will be part of the warehouse support team, assisting with loading, moving, and organizing materials. The ideal candidate will have previous Forklift Skills, ability to lift, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Driver

Location: Altavista, VA

Pay Range:$16.00 1st shift $16.55 2nd shift

Shift: 0700 AM to 3:30 PM OR 3:00 P.M. to 11:30 P.M.

What's the Job?

• Operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets.
• Assist in loading, moving, and organizing materials within the warehouse or industrial site.
• Perform safety checks and maintain equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
• Support team members in daily warehouse operations to meet production goals.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
• 1 year of previous experience operating industrial trucks.
• Ability to pass a urine drug screen and background check.
• Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented mindset.
