Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid – onsite roughly once every 1–2 months)
Duration: 12-Month Contract

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced AI Domain Architect to help design and scale enterprise AI solutions in a modern AWS environment . You’ll shape end-to-end architecture for AI/ML applications, guide data scientists and engineers through implementation, and ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of next-generation AI systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design and define AI/ML solution architecture, including LLMs, vector databases, and prompt engineering strategies.

• Select and integrate the right AWS services (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, Kendra, Aurora, S3, Athena ) for scalable AI workloads.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with enterprise standards.

• Stay ahead of Generative and Agentic AI trends and recommend practical applications.

• Serve as a hands-on technical leader — mentoring, influencing, and guiding project teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of architecture experience, ideally with AI/ML-driven solutions.

• 2–3+ years of experience designing or deploying solutions in AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker, or related).

• Strong background in data science or AI engineering before transitioning into architecture.

• Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Aurora, Kendra, MongoDB) and prompt engineering concepts.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills — able to collaborate across teams and present complex solutions clearly.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the healthcare domain (not required).

• Exposure to Generative AI or Agentic AI frameworks.

• AWS or Systems Architect certifications.
