An exciting contract opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist with a passion for supporting students’ growth and success in a school-based setting. Work with a diverse population ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade, collaborating with educators and families to make a measurable difference.

This position spans the full academic year, beginning on August 31, 2026, and concluding on June 11, 2027. You'll work 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, directly impacting students’ educational journeys in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Occupational Therapy license in Virginia is required
• Experience or strong interest in working with students in a school setting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to assess and develop plans addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills in school-aged children
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability across various grade levels

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade
• Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs
• Maintain detailed documentation and ongoing communication regarding therapy plans and progress
• Adapt interventions to meet individual student goals and requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
