Job Summary:
SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2) is seeking a strategic and results-driven Event Marketing Manager to support our sales and growth initiatives in the national security and regulated industry sectors. This role is critical in delivering high-impact event experiences that drive engagement, build trust, and generate pipeline with key stakeholders across government, defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets.
About the Role: We’re looking for a seasoned event professional who combines strategic vision with operational precision. You will lead the planning and execution of both proprietary (internal and external) and third-party events, including field marketing activations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute strategic event plans that align with business priorities, sales goals, and brand voice.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product strategy, and partners) to tailor event content for audience engagement and pipeline generation.
· Manage end-to-end logistics for proprietary and third-party events, including planning, budgeting, on-site execution, and post-event wrap-up.
· Coordinate with vendors, venues, agencies, and internal teams to deliver high-quality experiences on time and within scope.
· Ensure compliance with security protocols unique to national security and regulated environments.
· Analyze and report on event performance, including ROI, attendee engagement, and follow-up metrics.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
· 7+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or B2B demand generation—ideally in technology, national security, or regulated sectors.
· Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
· Proficiency with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
· Ability to travel as needed to support field marketing activities.
· Local to Herndon, VA

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 100000 - 216000(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
