Assembler
- Performs all work in a manner that conforms to safety and environmental policies of the Company.
- Plans assembly procedures, following specifications.
- Removes small quantities of metal to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts.
- Drills, taps, or reams holes.
- Align components, bolts, screws, or rivets them together.
- Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement.
- Aligns and meshes gears in gearbox to assemble system of gears.
- Sub-assemblies will include, but not be limited to transmissions, brakes, panel plates, and final assemblies.
- Works from blueprints, production illustrations, process sheets, production test procedures, written and oral instructions where assembly methods and procedures are established.
- This classification also requires team members to rotate into all areas of classification on a regular basis.
- Assists or performs training of other personnel on job duties as directed by Supervisor
- Performs other duties conducive to assuring optimum productivity within the Plant as the need arises, and other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
- Prior experience and/or training is a plus.
- Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely.
