Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support our project management team in various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be proficient in using various construction management software. This role involves assisting with project coordination, scheduling, and ensuring that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Responsibilities
- Oversee planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
- Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other construction management software to track project progress.
- Support the preparation of construction estimates and budgets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for easy access by team members.
- Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients to facilitate project success.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables, providing updates to the project manager as needed.
- Liaise with fabrication teams to track progress and resolve issues; Ensure shop drawings align with project specifications and schedule
- Maintain accurate project records, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in steel or structural trades
- Strong understanding of the drawing/submittal process, fabrication workflows, and financial tracking
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
