Job Overview: The groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining and improving the outdoor environment of the property, including lawns, gardens, walkways, and other landscape features. The groundskeeper will perform a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep, ensuring that the grounds are clean, safe, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lawn and Garden Care:

   • Mow lawns, trim edges, and maintain plant health.

   • Prune bushes, trees, and flowers.

   • Water plants and ensure proper irrigation.

   • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed.

   • Remove dead plants and debris.

2. Grounds Maintenance:

   • Maintain and clear walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas.

   • Ensure all outdoor areas are free of debris and hazards.

3. Tool and Equipment Management:

   • Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and chainsaws.

   • Ensure equipment is in good working condition and report any malfunctions.

     Required Skills and Qualifications:

   • High school diploma or equivalent.

   • Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred.

   • Working Conditions:

   • Outdoor work in various weather conditions.

   • Physical labor, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

   • Knowledge of landscape maintenance.

   • Ability to use landscaping tools and machinery safely and effectively.

   • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

   • Good attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.

   • 40 hour work week
